Our COO, Rebecca Bejhed, recently returned to her alma mater, Uppsala University, to take part in the Q-programme Inspirationsdag at the Ångström Laboratory. The event brought together alumni and current students for a day of learning, reflection, and forward-looking discussions.

Rebecca joined a distinguished panel of alumni including Håkan Oppagård, Matts Björck, Felix Saikoff, and Erika Åkerfeldt. Together, they shared career experiences, lessons learned, and insights into opportunities awaiting the next generation of engineers.

“It was an honour to return to where my journey began and to contribute to such meaningful conversations with students about their futures,” Rebecca said. “The curiosity and drive we saw in the room is exactly what our industry needs.”

The Q-programme Inspiration Day, organised by Peter Svedlindh and Greger Thornell, highlighted the strong link between academic training and real-world innovation. For Interlinked, it was also a chance to reflect on the importance of collaboration between universities and industry in building resilient medical solutions for tomorrow.

We extend our gratitude to Uppsala University for hosting this event and to the students for their thoughtful questions and inspiring dialogue.

At Interlinked, we believe in the power of knowledge-sharing and mentorship to strengthen the next generation of engineers and innovators.
