Interlinked explores frontline medicine and resilience during Innovation Week in Kiruna
Interlinked participated in Innovation Week in Kiruna, joining discussions around frontline medical care, civil defence and healthcare innovation in demanding environments.
Dr Rebecca Stjernberg Bejhed, COO and Co-founder of Interlinked, represented the company during the week, connecting with organisations and innovators working to strengthen preparedness and resilience.
Medical innovation for demanding environments
The discussions in Kiruna highlighted the importance of technologies that are not only innovative, but also practical and robust enough for emergency, pre-hospital and frontline care.
An important part of the conversations focused on how Swedish medical innovation can contribute to stronger preparedness and how technologies developed in Sweden could support healthcare needs in Ukraine.
For Interlinked, the week provided valuable perspectives on the potential applications of ReLink IV and ReLink Drain in demanding care environments.
ReLink IV is designed to help protect IV access from accidental dislodgement during treatment and transport, while ReLink Drain is designed to help protect drainage catheters from accidental dislodgement.
Building connections around frontline care
During the week, Rebecca also connected with Micael Törnblom from CYTO365 and Maryam Poorafshar from SampleFacts, who are also working within frontline medical care.
While the companies are developing different technologies, the discussions highlighted a shared ambition to strengthen Swedish resilience and explore how healthcare innovations could contribute where they are needed most.
Interlinked returned from Kiruna with new perspectives, connections and opportunities for continued collaboration around frontline medicine, preparedness and civil defence.
A special thank you to Daniel Kullgard for the valuable discussions and support throughout the event, and to everyone who contributed to a productive week in Kiruna.
