Interlinked joins Business Sweden delegation to Texas

Interlinked CEO and Co-founder Katarina Hedbeck recently joined a Business Sweden delegation to Texas, bringing together Swedish companies and representatives to strengthen connections and explore opportunities for collaboration in the United States.

The delegation included Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess of Sweden and Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maria Malmer Stenergard, and provided opportunities to connect with representatives from business, healthcare and the wider innovation ecosystem in Texas.

Exploring healthcare opportunities in Texas

A key part of the visit for Interlinked was the opportunity to visit Texas Medical Center in Houston, one of the world’s major healthcare and life-science environments.

The visit provided valuable perspectives on patient-safety challenges and reinforced the relevance of Interlinked’s work around preventing accidental catheter dislodgement, including the potential for ReLink within drainage applications.

For Interlinked, engaging directly with healthcare environments and stakeholders is an important part of understanding local needs as the company explores opportunities for continued international expansion.

Strengthening connections in the United States

The delegation also marked the official inauguration of Sweden’s new Consulate General in Houston, hosted by Consul General Anna Hammarlund Blixt.

Participation in the delegation provided Interlinked with an opportunity to strengthen relationships in Texas and continue discussions around potential partnerships and market development in the United States.

As part of this next phase, Interlinked is looking to connect with US sales and distribution partners interested in introducing ReLink technology to the US healthcare market.
