Recap of AVA 2024: advancements in vascular access

We’re excited to share highlights from this year’s Association for Vascular Access (AVA) Annual Scientific Meeting!

It was an incredible experience attending sessions and engaging with experts in the field. A standout presentation was delivered by Christopher Blacker, who showcased clinical data on the Force-Activated Separation Device (FASD). His insights emphasized the significant advancements in patient safety made possible by these innovative IV catheter protection devices.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Peter Carr, Andrew Bulmer, Timothy R. Spencer, Andrew Barton, DJ Shannon, Nicholas Buckley, Nikhilesh Bappoo, and Nancy Trick for their valuable contributions to scientific discussions. The collaboration and engaging conversations during the event have truly inspired us all to continue our work in enhancing patient safety.

We look forward to furthering these important discussions and collaborations, driving innovation in vascular access for the benefit of patients everywhere.
