Showcasing Interlinked at SciLifeLab: From Idea to Impact

We are proud to share that Interlinked AB is currently featured in an interactive display booth at SciLifeLab, Karolinska Institutet.

This exhibition was developed in collaboration with Maja Lidsheim Haak and KTH Innovation, and it highlights the journey of Interlinked — from identifying an urgent clinical need to developing ReLink, our innovative solution for IV dislodgement.

A Journey Rooted in Real Clinical Need

ReLink was born at the bedside, through direct observation of the challenges faced by nurses, doctors, and patients. Accidental IV dislodgement may seem like a small issue, but it causes real harm: patient injury, hazardous drug exposure, and increased strain on already pressured healthcare systems.

Our team set out to change this by designing a breakaway connector that protects patients, preserves treatment integrity, and reduces complications. What started as a fellowship project has now grown into a CE-marked device with expanding applications across IV therapy, drainage, and veterinary care.

Inspiring the Next Generation

The SciLifeLab exhibition not only shares our innovation but also tells the story of entrepreneurship in healthcare. We hope that students, researchers, and future entrepreneurs who visit the display feel inspired to take their own ideas forward — because healthcare innovation begins with curiosity, courage, and collaboration.
