For the third consecutive year, Interlinked’s founders, Katarina Hedbeck and Rebecca Stjernberg Bejhed, were honored to be invited as guest lecturers at Karolinska Institutet. This annual tradition is part of the university’s Product Development Timeline module, where students gain insights into the real-world journey of developing medical innovations.
Reflecting on the experience, Katarina shared, “It’s always inspiring to connect with such talented students and future changemakers.” Rebecca added, “We talk about our journey – from discovering the need for catheter protection to now having thousands of devices used on patients. It’s incredible to see the impact.”
The lecture provided students with a firsthand look at the challenges and breakthroughs involved in MedTech entrepreneurship, from early-stage ideation to regulatory approvals and commercialization. By sharing their experiences, Katarina and Rebecca hope to equip the next generation of innovators with the knowledge and motivation to bring their own healthcare solutions to life.
A huge thank you to Karolinska Institutet and Caroline Dahl for their continued support and for making this collaboration an annual tradition. Interlinked is proud to play a role in shaping the future of healthcare by fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
Here’s to empowering the next generation of MedTech pioneers and driving meaningful progress in healthcare!
