Interlinked discusses emergency and defence medicine at Defence Expo Sweden
Interlinked participated in Defence Expo Sweden, engaging with stakeholders around some of the critical challenges facing emergency, pre-hospital and defence medicine.
Throughout the event, discussions at the Interlinked booth covered challenges ranging from limited access to blood banks and medical resources to maintaining reliable IV access during patient transport and evacuation.
Protecting critical resources in demanding environments
In emergency and defence medicine, access to blood, fluids and medication can be limited, while replacing a dislodged IV catheter may be difficult depending on the environment.
These conversations provided an opportunity to discuss how ReLink could support preparedness in pre-hospital settings and field hospitals by helping protect IV access from accidental catheter dislodgement and minimise the loss of critical fluids.
The event also provided valuable perspectives on the practical requirements of healthcare delivery in environments where resources and treatment options may be constrained.
Continuing the conversation around preparedness
Interlinked would like to thank everyone who visited the booth and shared their experiences, perspectives and challenges with our team.
A special thank you to Andreas Dahlén, member of Interlinked’s Board, for representing the company during the second day of the event.
We also thank Didrik Bech for the photographs and company, as well as Jan Persson, Anette Nilsson Exner and Lena Gillström for the valuable conversations.
Interlinked looks forward to continuing these discussions and exploring how healthcare innovation can contribute to stronger preparedness and care in high-pressure environments.
